This session is designed for educators to explore the International Space Station (ISS) as a learning laboratory. During this session, participants will take a tour through the top web resources available to them to enhance their lesson plans. They will have the opportunity to experience the Space Station Google Goggle Expedition and learn how they can bring lessons from Space into their classrooms. Attendees will learn how they can follow the latest activities happening on the ISS, have access to the latest news on science investigations, and find graphics and videos that can be used in conjunction with course lectures on science, earth observation and technology development. Teachers and students will have access to how NASA and commercial entities are using the benefits of the space station’s low-earth orbit to make new discoveries and test technologies that not only benefit earth now, but also prepare us to explore deep space.
