Funding Opportunities at the National Institutes of Health

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is the world’s largest funder of biomedical research and has a myriad of funding opportunities available. This session will describe the NIH and the funding available to support research, research training, and research infrastructure across the career span ranging from pre-doctoral to professional. Presenters will introduce different funding mechanisms, and will highlight funding opportunities with particular relevance for American Indian and Alaska Native health research.
