Interested in the app industry? Have an idea for an app that would help your tribal community? Want to learn how first responders are using applications to help keep their communities and themselves safe? If yes, this breakout session is for you! Students will hear from app industry experts and public safety leaders about FirstNet, the country’s high-speed, nationwide wireless broadband network dedicated to public safety. Students will participate in hands-on exercises to brainstorm and develop new applications to help first responders serving tribal communities. Each student team will present their ideas to app experts and tribal public safety leaders. No past coding or application experience is required for this breakout session.
