Learn about various career paths available in the field of atmospheric science which studies severe weather including: tornadoes, hurricanes, flash floods, lightning, hail, wildfires and winter storms. The range of expertise needed to address the challenges in severe weather research provides opportunities for students in the physical and social sciences, engineering, and computer science.
